The Artscapes Difference
As a client with Artscapes your dream is what we design. Unlike many landscape contractors it is important that you get the design that works for your budget not just an estimate of what we can do. Ultimately the project belongs to you. Artscapes are designers first and installers second. We don't sell cost; we design and install your vision for what your budget will allow. After many years of learning the hard way we have implemented a structure favorable for both the consumer and our company. This structure addresses your needs and allows Artscapes to operate efficiently and not have to finance projects with one another as many companies do. We have found this structure has provided us with the opportunity to build better relationships with our clients. In doing so as a client your experience with contracting is much more enjoyable and creates less of a burden in your busy life.
As a client with Artscapes you will receive an itemized and documented estimate after your initial consultation. During this phase a profile is created for your project, not just a notepad. As a part of this phase your profile will include your ideas, what you have budgeted or have available for the project, ideas for financing or phasing if needed and construction assessments including possible obstacles to construction.
After your estimate is created on your project we will then begin your design phase. This phase is billable and in some cases may be overlooked in the event the project does not require design; for example a 20' x 20' flagstone patio. In this case you will choose style of flagstone and construction will begin. We don't just draw circles and dots on a piece of paper for you to figure out what you are receiving.
After your design phase Artscapes will present the project for approval. Upon approval you will be assigned a project manager who will walk you through the installation itinerary and schedule of completion. You will never be surprised or not know what is being installed and you will always know when or who will be on site. You don't have to worry about your deposit being taken and lawsuits for incomplete or never begun projects.
Your Landscape Installation
As construction begins our installers will do a thorough site inspection and note site conditions prior to construction. During installation all concerns may be addressed with project manager. Your project manager will make adjustments as needed and any change orders will be submitted and credited or added to your account accordingly. We do not leave anyone on site that cannot understand or communicate with you. You will not receive a final invoice with change orders you are not aware of.
Once we have completed your project a list of materials used will be given to you with a care package for your products. Any warranties that apply will be included in your care packet. You will be given a final walk through and have you approve services rendered along with final payment. We will not ask for or collect final payment if you have not given us a signed approval.
All warranty issues are serviced on Fridays in order of when service was called in. Trip fees, hourly billing and material expenses may apply. If your warranty issue is an emergency Artscapes will have someone on site the same day or no later than 48 hours.
